Here's what you can expect
from your Mad Yogi:
Classes that are SCALABLE, MODIFIABLE & ACCESSIBLE to all experiences, from beginners to seasoned practitioners, allowing you to choose your intensity.
You will have the encouragement and support to pare things back or to go further so you can scale and tailor your workout to YOU. My way of teaching is kind and accommodating to your body, mind and emotions - whatever shape, size, age or state - giving you the groundwork for self-love, self-acceptance and non-judgement;
Yoga that is grounded in anatomical knowledge and safe biomechanical movement that helps in:
Keeping your movements safe while encouraging strength, flexibility and mobility,
Improving your posture and key body functions like breathing and mental acuity for overall physical health, and
Managing injuries you have acquired in your life;
BELIEF-NEUTRAL yoga mindsets to provide you with a mental and emotional safe space, whether you are spiritual or not. I believe that the teachings of kindness, compassion, non-judgement and unconditional love transcends any religious or spiritual belief system, and I respect whatever you believe in.
And lastly, you will have a yoga practice that focuses NOT on the fancy pose, has NO airy-fairy talk and all that woo-woo stuff. But rather on helping you through deconstructing and demystifying yoga to make it practical and relatable to everyday life, empowering you to REDISCOVER YOURSELF.

My Class Styles
The main style I teach in is a Slow Flow sequencing I call Dosha Vinyasa Yoga©.
This sequencing style I created is creative, modifiable and grounded in the intelligent movements of the body.
Nothing is forced and there are always options for the poses.
The general pace and intensity of the classes is a Scalable Intermediate flow.
Meaning to say, the intensity of the classes change depending on the choices you make. But you will always hear me encouraging you to stop and rest whenever you need to.
You will always have the option to modify, use different variations of poses and use props if you need external support. Or go deeper in the poses and increase repetitions if you are feeling like it.
I also have a set of 10 Yoga-HIIT fusion classes. This is to give you some cardio classes to combine with the slow flow classes. It's always good to mix it up every now and then to give ourselves a balanced workout.
The Flow Room
Deepen your self-awareness and self-care. The classes in the Flow Room are modifiable to what you need and are capable of.
You will be given options for your poses and always encouraged to stop and rest when you need to. The level of challenge is totally up to you. This is where that deepening of your self- awareness and self-care comes from.
You will really get to know what you can do, what you shouldn't do and be ok with it all; without judging yourself.
These are short flows from 15 to 30 minutes. The Equinox Series© are my own variations of the traditional sun and moon salutations. These are beautiful short yoga classes that you can do in the morning to quickly invigorate and prepare you for the day and to help you relax at the end for a more restful sleep. You can even do them at any time of the day for a nice de-stressing routine! Just hop on the mat and do one of the short classes. They're enough to re-align you to YOU.
These are longer yoga classes from 57 minutes to 1 hour & 45 minutes. The DVY Series help you to balance out the different states we find ourselves in - from feeling ungrounded to impatient to feeling heavy and lethargic. The classes are grouped in threes and cycle through balancing and smoothing out emotional and mental highs and lows by moving the body.
The Verve Series© are HIIT & Yoga fusion classes which encourage a bit more cardio workout. This fusion takes the best of both Yoga and HIIT! The mindful movement of yoga plus the intensity and energy of HIIT makes for a mindful, precise, fun and dynamic class. It will lift your heart rate, tone your body and encourage concentration through Active Meditation©. Come and join me for this unique experience.
We use props in these classes, so keep your props bag close to you. I have a video on putting together your props bag, so please take the time to go through that; this is to support your home yoga practice.
These are 15-minute bursts of creative, practical and fun flows that will help keep you grounded, fit, mindful and gives you a taste of the classes in the other series.
The Constellation Series is a fun and adventurous new set that has elements that evoke the spirit of the sun signs (or zodiac signs). Now, don’t worry, I won’t suddenly give you your horoscopes! We use the sign archetypes to understand and balance the traits that we recognise in ourselves. This also helps to extend the same to others. The constellations are inspirations to create new ways to move the body and to challenge the mind and emotions.
The classes come as a pair. There’s a longer class and a shorter one that I call the Tala (star) Salutations. These have an intermediate intensity as compared to the Sol (sun) and Luna (moon) salutations and are components of the longer flows. These are wonderful for those times when you don’t have too much time for your yoga!
The Course Room
The courses in the Course Room are designed to deepen your physical practice - transitioning to include a more connected and honest relationship with yourself.
You'll do this by going through the courses that will ask you to include mindset shifts, practice non-judgement, acceptance and compassion - for yourself, the people around you and situations in your life.
Because while you may not believe in the woo, there may be other limiting beliefs and mindsets that cause unkindness to yourself and others. The courses aim to help you though those.
All your courses come with videos and ebooks/ workbooks that you can download and do offline.
The Mad Yogi Workshops come in two forms:
Workshop Cards, and
The workshops deconstruct and demystify yoga poses and give you options that can suit your situation or condition, whether you consider yourself a beginner or an advanced practitioner.
The workshops aim to support your physical practice to give you the confidence to choose your modifications to keep you safe in your movement, whether you want to pare things back or challenge yourself.
When this happens, you can then control your external stimuli and draw deep into yourself to find your peace, quiet, and enjoyment. This is when you REDISCOVER YOURSELF.
