Please take the time to read through these terms and conditions.  Highlights are provided, but they are there only to make the "legalese" a little easier.

It is a reasonable assumption on my part that you have agreed to these Ts and Cs when you participate in any way in this website.

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of MadYogi's Website and its content.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Mad Yogi's website if you do not accept all the terms and conditions stated on this document.

In other words: This is an agreement between you and I in relation to your use of my classes, materials and other resources on my website.

“Subscription Videos/Channels/Online Yoga Rooms”, “Free Mini Flows” & “Resources” are videos or other materials that are paid for by the practitioner on a regular basis or are free to access and are subject to the restrictions above, including:

  • Subscriptions are non-refundable once the payment cycle is triggered.

  • Suspension and cancellation need to be communicated with Aileen David / Mad Yogi ASAP so that it can be attended to quickly.

  • Timing of cancellation will depend upon third-party payment cancellation policy/timing.

 

In other words: I don’t control the debits and charging, Stripe and Paypal do.

 

Disclaimer and Indemnity

As the purchaser / practitioner, you agree to:

  • Ensure your own safety and the safety of others present during your practise.

  • Ensure that your injuries, medical, physical, psychological or emotional conditions are managed under the advice and supervision of your medical practitioner.

 

You agree that Mad Yogi shall not be held liable for any injury or any loss of any kind resulting from an injury from:

  • Misinformation provided to Mad Yogi in the creation of your purchase, where it applies;

  • Misuse and mismanagement of the purchased material;

  • Use and/or misuse of a person or persons for whom the material was not designed for;

  • Gross negligence and willful misconduct of your own safety or the safety of others surrounding you;

  • Willful disregard for the safety standards set out in the materials on the website;

  • Gross negligence, willful misconduct, willful ignorance or misunderstanding of the inherent risks of the practice of yoga.

 

In other words:  We take great pains and pride in providing a safe yoga practice as on-demand yoga classes, but ultimately - your body, your practice, your responsibility. Because YOU know what is best for you.

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof. Certain parts of this website offer the opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions, information, material and data ('Comments') in areas of the website. MadYogi does not screen, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their appearance on the website and Comments do not reflect the views or opinions of MadYogi, its agents or affiliates. Comments reflect the view and opinion of the person who posts such view or opinion.

We are not liable for third-party security and terms and conditions. We may change this clause if:

  • The third-party transaction service provider changes its terms; and,

  • We change our third-party transaction service provider and they require us to collect credit cards information.

 

We use PayPal and Stripe for all online transactions. As such, no credit card detail will ever be asked from you by Mad Yogi directly, nor stored by Mad Yogi.  They have their own set of Ts and Cs and are not related to ours.

Mad Yogi collects personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us electronically or in person, when you access our website and when we provide our services to you.

We may receive personal information from third parties. If we do, we will protect it as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Mad Yogi may use personal information collected from you to provide you with information, updates and our services. We may also make you aware of new and additional products, services and opportunities available to you. In other words: Your email and name, which is at the moment the most I collect, will only be used for newsletters and other important information you should know.

In other words: I promise to keep your details secure & not sell them.  While I can not speak for the other services like Wix, Paypal and Stripe, it is arguably safe to say that they also comply with privacy laws.  The only time and entity to whom I will give your information is to lawful authorities and only when they ask.

You may request details of personal information that we hold about you in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988. A small administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information.
